A local retailer has welcomed legislation which will see a ban on the sale of vaping products to those under the age of 18. The new law is set to come into effect before the Dáil's summer recess in mid-July next year. Measures in the bill include a restriction on the types of retailers permitted to sell vapes and e-cigarettes.
Sean Ganley, who manages Roscommon-based Direct 2U eCigs, says the new law is welcome but doesn't go far enough. Speaking to Shannonside News, Mr Ganley called for a complete ban on disposable vaping products:
