Bereaved parents are being urged to reach out for support when they are ready.
The charity, "FirstLight", has provided free professional counselling care to over thirty bereaved families and parents across counties Longford, Roscommon and Leitrim. In recent weeks, brother Eamon and Andrew Breen, who lost their brother at just 10 weeks old, rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in his memory. The event raised up to €100,000 for the charity.
As families remember their dearly departed during these festive days, they are reminded that they are not alone this Christmas and that supports are always available.
