The Bishop of Elphin is encouraging local people to view the Relics of St Bernadette of Lourdes, as they make a historic visit here.
She saw the Virgin Mary 18 times at the Grotto in Lourdes in 1858.
Her relics are coming to Ireland for the first time, as they are brought home from Lourdes by Bishop Kevin Doran tonight.
They'll be taken around the country over the next two months, and Bishop Doran says all are welcome to attend the events.
The relics will be taken to St Mel's Cathedral in Longford, St Nathy's Cathedral in Ballaghaderreen, and the Church of the Risen Christ in Kiltoom, over the next two months.
Ballaghaderreen councillor Micheál Frain says they are significant events.
