Uisce Éireann can confirm water from a supply in Co. Roscommon can now safely be used.
The service had issued a boil water notice on the Boyle Regional Public Water Supply on Sunday, 26th January.
It was due to disinfection issues caused by power outages at the water treatment plant and reservoirs following on from Storm Éowyn.
The water notice impacted customers in Boyle, Ardcarne, Knockvicar, Cootehall, Grangemore, Ballinameen, Croghan, Cortober Village and surrounding areas.
Uisce Éireann has now confirmed that following consultation with the HSE, customers on this supply can now resume normal use of the public water supply.
