A boil water notice for approximately 800 homes, farms and businesses in the Glenamaddy area has been lifted this afternoon.
The notice was issued at the start of the month due to a deterioration in raw water quality at the Glenamaddy Water Treatment Plant.
Following a series of clear water samples conducted on the supply, the water treatment plant has confirmed it has resumed normal operation
Irish Water is advising customers that the water supply is once again safe to consume, with the service apologising for any inconvenience caused to locals.
