Boil water notice remains in place for customers in Castlerea

Uisce Éireann is reminding customers that the Boil Water Notice issued to protect the health of customers supplied by the Castlerea Public Water Supply Scheme remains in place.
The notice was issued last Saturday, due to increased turbidity impacting the treatment process at the Longford Springs Water Treatment Plant.

Areas impacted by the Boil Water Notice include the areas of Ballintober, Trien, Kilmurray and Castleplunkett.
Uisce Éireann says customers are reminded that the water is safe to consume once boiled.
