Egan's Townhouse in Green Street shut down with immediate effect last week.

The facility opened in 2023 and, at one stage, accommodated 18 refugees. 

They say the partnership will create a stronger, unified credit union, enhancing financial services for members while continuing to prioritise community-focused values.

It follows an unannounced inspection at the Plunkett Community Nursing Unit in Boyle in October 2024.

The water notice impacted customers in Boyle, Ardcarne, Knockvicar, Cootehall, Grangemore, Ballinameen, Croghan, Cortober Village and surrounding areas. 

The notices are due to disinfection problems, caused by power cuts at the two plants and reservoirs.
