The Boyle electoral area has the highest 14 day incidence rate in the Shannonside region.
According to the latest figures from the 27th of October to the 9th of November, there were 59 confirmed cases in the electoral area, with an incidence rate of 270.3 per 100,000 of population.
The Carrick on Shannon electoral area has had 7 cases in that time period, with an incidence rate of 61.6 per 100,000 of population.
In the Ballinamore electoral area, there’s been less than five cases with a less than 5 rate per 100,000 of population.
The Roscommon area had had 32 cases giving it an incidence rate of 140.8 just lower than the national rate of 151.5
The Athlone electoral area has had 22 cases, its rate is 110.1.
The Ballymahon area of Longford has seen 24 new cases of Covid 19 in the two weeks up to Wednesday, its incidence rate is 169.6 and with 21 new cases in the Longford area it’s incidence rate is now at 130.9
There’s been a significant drop in the positivity rate of the virus in the population with just 9 cases in the two weeks – the incidence rate is at 84.3.
