The Chairperson of Boyle Town Team says the community is saddened and annoyed following an act of vandalism in the area.
A number of signs and wooden posts were forcibly removed from the ground along the Lough Key to Boyle Cycle Way on Monday night last.
The damage was caused on a stretch between the gates of Rockingham House and a Garda investigation is now underway.

Brian Nerney says it's devastating for the community who use the amenity on a daily basis and he's now appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
The Boyle native says it's unacceptable that people think they can vandalise public infrastructure and get away with it.
