Traffic is being diverted on the N4

Dorothy Shannon from the King House Tea Rooms in Boyle is set to provide Christmas dinner for free for people feeling alone this afternoon.

Last Friday's meeting took place in St. Joseph's Hall and a number of public representatives including local TDs were in attendance.

One person was removed from the scene to Sligo General Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The Department of Rural and Community Development has allocated €5.6 million whilst €1.4 million has been allocated from the Council's own resources.

The Boyle man is an elected member of the Council of the Law Society and a partner in the Callan Tansey law firm.

Joan and John Gallagher from Boyle will appear on ‘Best Place to Be' after leaving Ireland for Spain in 2001.

Boyle Tidy Towns was awarded 2nd prize in the Town Centre First category, receiving €1,500.
