Musician and mental health advocate Niall Breslin arrived in Carrick-on-Shannon yesterday evening on his challenge to raise funds for 'A Lust for Life'.
Bressie is undertaking a charity kayaking challenge called the 'The Rising' which sees him kayak the full length of the River Shannon- a journey of over 300km.
He departed from the Carrick on Shannon Rowing Club this morning and it's expected he will arrive at around 4:30pm to Lough Ree Access for All.
All funds raised will go to 'A Lust for Life' which uses content, campaigns and events to facilitate young people to be effective guardians of their own mind.
Bressie will complete the challenge at the mouth of the Shannon in Limerick city on July 6th, at King John's Castle.
