National broadband surveys in areas of Leitrim and Roscommon are beginning this week.
The works will include staff inspecting and recording pictures of infrastructure such as poles, cables and underground ducts.
In Roscommon, the surveys will commence in areas including Derryfeade, Rooskey, Slatta, Scramoge, Whitehall and in Leitrim, the surveys will commence in Mohill, Aghamore, Gortletteragh, Dromod,and Ballinamore areas.

The public is being assured that employees will also wear hard hats and high visibility vests featuring the NBI logo and all contractors will also carry official ID cards.
