A building at Ballinamore marina sustained significant damage in a fire last night.
A member of the public alerted emergency services just after 9’o clock last night when they spotted a vehicle parked near the building on fire.
The fire had spread to the building but brigade personnel from the nearby fire station managed to bring it under control in a short time.
Asst Chief Fire Officer Conor Lynch said the blaze had spread into some of the roof space, and members used breathing apparatus to bring it under control.
Units from Ballinamore and Mohill were involved in the operation.
