Business suffered around €80,000 in damage in Longford fire - and isn't covered by insurance

A business that suffered around €80,000 in damage in the Longford blaze had no fire insurance in place.

Black Pearl Tattoo, Piercing and Beauty was destroyed in Sunday’s blaze, which affected 12 other businesses.

Ruslans Vacika’s business had been based in Grafton Court for 10 years before the fire ruined their premises.

He runs the business with his wife, Alex, and their piercer, Arthur.

He outlines the value of the damage done – which isn’t insured.
