The owners of Viewmount House in Longford say they hope someone will buy the business as a going concern and that the county will continue to attract food lovers across the country.
Beryl Kearney who developed the business with her husband James over the past 30 years says it will be business as usual until a sale is agreed on the property.
Speaking to Shannonside News this morning, Beryl Kearney says she and her husband are very grateful for the support from the local community since they opened for business and would like to think the facility could offer employment in the future.
