A regional road in south Longford will be closed tomorrow after what has been described as a major incident earlier this morning.
A fuel truck overturned on the R392 between Ballymahon and Lanesboro just after 7am this morning with hundreds of litres of fuel dispersed across a wide area.
A major clean-up operation is currently underway and a crane is required to remove the truck which came off the road at Lahery. Diversions are in place and Longford County Council has confirmed that the road will be closed this evening and on Saturday following the collision.
