A local Councillor has called for County Leitrim to be included in film production funding for the West of Ireland.
Cllr Enda McGloin says Western Region Audiovisual Development funding would boost tourism in the county.
The WRAP fund is an initiative of the Western Development Commission and Ardán with support of the local authorities of Clare, Donegal, Galway City, Galway County, Leirim, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo and Údarás na Gaeltachta.
The Fine Gael Councillor believes Leitrim's natural beauty would make it an ideal location for filming.
He said the county would benefit greatly from featuring on the silver screen.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound News, Cllr McGloin said film producers should look west:
