A two-week trial started on Monday, involving a pedestrian walkway - but with a one-way system for motor traffic.

There are calls for the trial of a pedestrian bridge in Rooskey to be scrapped because it's causing serious disruption. The historic bridge normally has no designated area for walkers to cross the Shannon, causing safety fears.
