Students at TUS Athlone have raised concerns over the safety of exam halls due to ongoing Covid-19 concerns.
With Winter assessments set to begin later this week, some students are now calling for the exams to go online.
Students Union President Áine Daly says the University has liaised with Government departments who say if a college can facilitate in person exams they should.
Lectures have been taking place on campus since September.
President Daly is urging students to reduce their social contacts in the run up to the exam period to ensure the safety of all students.
