A former senator is calling for Fine Gael to add a Leitrim candidate to its general election ticket.
It's after Frank Feighan was selected to represent the party in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency, at a selection convention last night.
Fine Gael chose to select only one candidate, and Feighan easily beat former junior minister John Perry, from Ballymote.
Former senator Michael Comiskey, from Dromahair, says the lack of a Leitrim candidate must be addressed.
