There are calls for funding to be secured for a viewing bay overlooking one of the most scenic sites in Co Leitrim.
Sinn Féin councillor Brendan Barry wants a viewing bay overlooking Lough Allen at Cormongan, which is around four miles north of Drumshanbo.

He also wants the council to work with landowners at Cleighranmore, to improve views of the lake there too.
Councillor Barry says the improvements would make Lough Allen more attractive for tourists.
