A Roscommon Galway TD is calling for clarity on whether the vaccination centres to be set up in various counties will be able to facilitate people regardless of their address.
Independent Deputy Denis Naughten says while he welcomes the announcement of the location of the centres, he is very concerned that the centres would be run by county boundaries and could exclude people living nearby, but technically in another county.
He says with the centres announced so far for the towns of Roscommon, Longford and Carrick-on-Shannon it would be totally unacceptable that people might end up having to travel a much longer distance just because of a county boundary.
