A man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s were arrested at the scene and were originally held at Castlerea Garda Station, before being remanded in custody in court yesterday.

Investigations are ongoing.

A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the drugs, but has since been released.

The man and woman are being detained at Longford Garda station.

Local Gardaí along with members of the armed support unit attended the property on Tuesday.

Gardaí also recorded a significant rise in the number of detections of drugs for sale in the county in the last year.
