Members of golf clubs in the Shannonside Northern Sound region say it's unfair that they are not allowed play during Level 5 while some more high contact sports can continue.
All amateur sports are banned under the latest round of restrictions, but elite sports such as intercounty GAA and soccer leagues are continuing to play matches.
This is despite a number of positive cases among players and teams across the country, including the latest in Roscommon GAA where members of the senior team and management are forced to restrict their movements.
