Organisers of the 57th Carrick-on-Shannon canoe race have been forced to cancel tomorrow's event due to safety concerns.
High winds forecast for this Saturday means the course would be unsafe for participants and volunteers.
In a post on social media the group say all races including the LD long course will be postponed.
