A Carrick on Shannon restaurateur says there will be a huge financial cost if they cannot re-open for indoor dining as planned on July 5th.
There are indications that the further easing of restrictions next month will be delayed dur to concern over the rise in cases of the Delta variant of Covid 19.
The Taoiseach, Tánaiste and Health Minister have all indicated that it's too soon at this stage to provide clarity on the situation.
Sham Hanifa who owns the Cottage and Buffalo Boy restaurants in Carrick on Shannon says the cost of preparing for re-opening and then for it to be delayed again is very worrying.
