Planning permission has been lodged for the construction of new facilities for a local tennis club.
Carrick on Shannon Lawn Tennis Club have sought permission for a new single storey club house at St. George's Terrace in Townparks.
The plans call for a viewing terrace at roof level along with associated site works and services.

Carrick-on-Shannon Lawn Tennis Club was established in 1887 and went through a major revival in the 1990s.
County planners will decide on the application in October.
