Overall 15,500 motorists in the Shannonside Region had at least one penalty point on their licence at the end of last year.

A total of 26 luxury cars are registered across Longford, Leitrim, and Roscommon.

59 were registered in Roscommon between January and May this year - compared to 82 in the same period in 2023.
