People across the region are being urged not to touch wild birds that might be infected with avian flu.
The Department of Agriculture has highlighted a number of cases of the bird flu in whooper swans and white tailed sea eagles in the country.
A pelegrine falcon in Roscommon has also been identified as having the virus, with a second in Portumna also affected.
Niall Hatch from Birdwatch Ireland says it's not unusual for birds to contract the virus at this time of year.
#BirdFlu is now circulating in wild birds.
Do not touch or pick up any dead or sick birds that you find.
