The outdoor swimming pool in Castlerea has officially opened today for the Summer Season.
The heated 33 meter local amenity underwent a 300,000 euro refurbishment in recent weeks with the addition of a new pool tank, slide and seating.
The pool will open weekly from Wednesday until Sunday through July and August with three sessions daily.

Councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice says a large crowd have already gathered at the facility this morning.
