Castlerea prepares to cheer on Olympic boxer Aoife O'Rourke

Crowds of people will gather in Castlerea tonight as a local boxer starts her bid to win Roscommon's first ever Olympic medal. Aoife O'Rourke is odds-on to beat her Polish opponent, Elzbieta Wojcik, in the last-16 tonight and is a strong medal contender. The middleweight fight will be shown on the big screen in the Hub in Castlerea at 8.50 tonight during the Rose Festival.
