Motorists are being advised to drive with caution after a two-car collision on the R368 between Elphin and Carrick-on-Shannon.
Roscommon County Council are currently at the scene with reports of oil on the road.
No serious injuries have been reported and while the road remains open Gardai are asking drivers to proceed with caution as the clean-up continues.
