A Roscommon school's All-Ireland football win can be a springboard for success for other schools and the county's underage teams. That's according to Roscommon CBS manager Noel Moran, who was speaking following the side's All-Ireland Post-Primary Schools B championship win over Patrician High School yesterday afternoon. The Roscommon school ran out 1-13 to 0-12 winners over their Carrickmacross counterparts at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park in Longford.
Noel, who jointly manages the team with Eoghan Coll, said there were scenes of celebration in CBS this morning. He believes the famous win can be a catalyst for further success for his own players as well as those in other schools:
