A secondary school in Roscommon town is set to transition from an all boys school to a co-educational school from next year. CBS Roscommon confirmed the move yesterday having been an all boys school since 1935 in the county town.
The news comes following the Convent of Mercy's decision earlier this year to also move to a co-educational school from September 2025. CBS Roscommon principal, Kevin Scollan, says it's exciting times ahead for the school:
