Team captain Michelle Guckian says the team is still coming to terms with the achievement and paid tribute to manager Jonny Garrity and his backroom team.

Celebrations continue across Leitrim following the ladies footballers' sensational All-Ireland final win on Sunday. Leitrim overcame Tyrone by a point at Croke Park to win the intermediate title for the first time since 2007. The result meant the cup, named after Aughawillan native Mary Quinn, came west for just the third time in the county's history.

Team captain Michelle Guckian says the team is still coming to terms with the achievement and paid tribute to manager Jonny Garrity and his backroom team. Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show, the Kiltubrid native said she was delighted to bring the cup back home to Leitrim:
