Center Parcs in Longford is reporting its business as usual following last week's storm. The popular holiday location was significantly impacted by Storm Eowyn. Video's on social media show dozens of trees down across the facility with a number of lodges suffering minor damage.
A statement from the company to Shannonside FM News states that the holiday destination reopened on Tuesday following a brief closure over the weekend. Most outdoor activities have been impacted by the storm and are still out of action, though all indoor activities are now running with 80 percent occupancy reported on site. Guests booked to stay over last weekend were offered a full refund according to the holiday company.
