The CEO of North Midlands Credit Union has welcomed proposals included in the programme for government. The incoming Government has committed to retaining a dedicated Minister for Financial Services, Credit Unions and Insurance.
Also included in the programme for government is a Draft five-year strategy for the credit union sector to ensure they can fully leverage new opportunities. Speaking to Let's Talk, North Midlands Credit Union CEO, Tom Allen, says some points included are very positive:
