Gardai are appealing for witnesses.

A child has been injured in a crash in Ballinasloe this afternoon.

The collision between a minibus and a pedestrian happened at around 12.10pm at Dunlo Quay in Ballinasloe.

The girl was taken to Portiuncula Hospital where she is being treated for serious injuries.
