A local actor has spoken about the importance of children's inclusion in theatre.
Longford native and actor, Darren Yorke, is bringing his one man children's show 'Fergal' to the Backstage Theatre this Friday and Saturday.
Fergal is a non-verbal show for children aged 3 and up and their families.

The production will run at 10am and 12 pm on Friday, while Saturday's 3 pm family show is tailored for children with sensory needs.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, Darren Yorke explained that the production encourages active participation from the children:
