It's hoped that restoration works at one of the oldest church ruins in County Roscommon will be finished in the early months of next year.
The 900-year-old Rahara church ruins are considered some of the most historically valuable in the region - with a recent conservation report suggesting major stabilisation and conversation works were required at the site.
Works started recently on stabilising and repairing walls with ivy removal also underway
The project is being coordinated by the national monuments service as well as the national parks and wildlife service.
