Claire Kerrane to be confirmed as Sinn Féin candidate in Roscommon-Galway

Claire Kerrane will be confirmed as Sinn Fein's only general election candidate in the Roscommon-Galway constituency tonight. The party's spokesperson for children, integration and youth will be rubberstamped at a selection convention in Hannon's Hotel in Roscommon town at 8 o'clock this evening.

The Ballaghaderreen woman has been a TD since 2020, when she took the third seat in the three-seat constituency. Sinn Féin believes it can only win one seat again this time and is only running one candidate.
