The state's climate watchdog is trying to put farmers completely out of business, according to the chairman of Longford IFA.

It's after the Climate Change Advisory Council called for more incentives to encourage farmers to get into forestry.

In a new report, the council also called for an information campaign to be launched to encourage people to eat less meat.
