Cocaine and drink-driving arrests near Drumlish Festival

At least two drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of cocaine near the Marquee in Drumlish Festival in Co Longford at the weekend.

One of the drivers was also found to have suspected no insurance and tax 10 months out of date.

The other car was also suspected to have no insurance, tax seven months out of date, and no NCT.

A novice driver was also arrested on suspicion of drink-driving by gardai on duty at the festival.
