Coillte says it's committed to continuing with its engagement with the Mote Park Conservation Group over the management of the amenity.
The statement comes following the condemnation by the local group last week of the methods used to clear smaller branches and trees at Mote Park Avenue last week.
The Conservation Group say they were disgusted to see a digger and grab used to tear the branches off rather than cutting them properly, and that Coillte had promised tree surgeons would be used for work on the avenue.
A statement says overhanging roadside branches were removed last week as part of works to install roadside parking at the amenity.
Coillte says the work was undertaken with County Council support for traffic management to ensure public safety.
It also states that its local management team has been in consultation with the Conservation Group on the matter.
