People across the Shannonside region are being urged to check lotto tickets ahead of the collection deadline for a substantial prize.
A ticket sold at the Top Oil Service Station on the Longford Road in Mullingar contained the winning numbers for a €40,000 prize.
The numbers 11, 24, 27, 34, 42, 44 and the bonus number 15, were drawn on Saturday the 1st of April in the Lotto Plus 1 draw.
Once a winning ticket has been drawn, the holder or holders have 90 days to collect their winnings.
The ticket holders have until Friday the 30th to make contact with the National Lottery, with the winnings going back to a number of projects with the organisation if they do not.
Meanwhile, a Euromillions ticket worth €500,000 was sold in Ballinasloe over the weekend at the Corrib Oil in Brackernagh.
