Colmcille came back to tame a Mullinalaghta victory as the sides drew 11 points apiece after a dramatic Colmcille fightback.
Mullinalaghta led nine points to two at half-time thanks in part to two points each from Cian Mackey and Rian Brady and Jayson Matthews.
Colmcille produced an unbelievable second half comeback, proving that last year’s quarter-final victory was no fluke but it wasn’t until the 40th minute that Colmcille fought back.
Trailing 10 points to four, the introduction of Paul McKeon swung things in Colmcille favour and with Mullinalaghta adding just one point in the final 20 minutes it was two injury time free’s from McKeon which ensured a share of the spoils.
