Communities in Castlerea are being urged to conserve water to help reservoir levels recover.
It comes as heavy rainfall has led to production issues at Castlerea Water Treatment Plant.
Uisce Éireann and Roscommon County Council say they are working to maintain a sufficient water supply to homes and businesses in the area.
They are warning however that some customers supplied by Castlerea Water Treatment Plant could experience a reduction in water pressure over the weekend.
Operations Lead with Uisce Éireann Ger Greally is hoping conservation measures will alleviate the need for nighttime restrictions.
People are being asked to not run taps needlessly and to take showers instead of baths.
