A Roscommon Tidy Towns Group has said they'd like to see the "community service" process in our courts system used to help voluntary organisations across the country.
Many groups around the country are finding it difficult to get volunteers following the two year Covid interruption.
Chairperson of Strokestown Tidy Towns Group Johnathon Cassidy says their group is looking for more people to join them to help them with a number of projects they have on the list to help improve the area.
He says one of things that could help groups like Tidy Towns is if people who were given "community service" were detailed to work with them for some of their time:
