An Irish Composer with strong Leitrim links will be presented with the Gradam Ceoil composer award for 2023.
Fiddle player Maurice Lennon and son of Kiltyclogher native Ben Lennon will receive the honour at the TG4 event in April.
He founded the folk-rock band Stockton's Wing and has collaborated with singers such as Seán Keane, Ronnie Drew, Finbar Furey and Johnny McEvoy.

The awards ceremony will air live on TG4 on Sunday April 23rd from University Concert Hall in Limerick.
