A local MEP says some people in the region were unable to collect their weekly payment at various post offices today due to computer outages.
Independent Ireland MEP Ciaran Mullooly says there were issues at Lanesborough, Longford and Dunmore today.
An Post have confirmed there were some customers names were missing from payment list in Lanesborough Post Office.
They also say emergency moves are underway to rectify the issue today with the office open again from 9am-1pm tomorrow morning.
